The upcoming FRAGMENTA-event The Valley of Thousand Pleasures presents a collaborative work by Jagna Ciuchta and Samir Ramdani. It is an occasion for the two artists to interweave two narrations dug out from their respective research. The work will be presented in the outside space of Valletta, close to Fort St. Elmo (details to follow soon). The event will take place between 4 and 8pm on Sunday, August 30th, 2015.

JAGNA CIUCHTA : Polish born, Paris based artist, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań (PL). She is currently a PhD researcher in Academy of Fine Arts in Paris (ENSBA/ENS/PSL). In her work she deals with the rules of the exhibition which become both the content and context of her work. Through her works she proposes individual, group or between-these-two exhibitions. Like Eat the Blue (2013/14) was an exhibition in progress that was built and taken apart in organic, unpredictable ways. She oftentimes works with rhythms and series like in When You See Me Again It Won’t Be Me (2010-2015) or Missing Alina (2012-2014), which overlap in time with her other works.
